FAQ
When does the maintenance season start and finish?
We begin our maintenance schedules around the end of March and continues through to October/ November depending on weather. It includes 25 visits and to the best of our ability these are on the same day of the week although weather can periodically change this.
When are 'clean ups' carried out?
Spring clean ups are completed in one visit (if possible) throughout March, April and early May. Autumn at the end of the growing season throughout September, October and November.
However we will carry out clean ups throughout the whole year as you may have let the garden go and need it back in a manageable state, you may have moved into a new house again with a neglected garden or if you are planning to move house and the garden may be putting potential buyers off, remember it is the first thing they will see and the last when they leave.
How often is the maintenance program carried out?
Each customers program is tailored to the individual needs of them and their garden and is therefore dependant on how manicured you want your garden to be. When agreed upon, the program will be carried out at the same time on the same day each week although weather and holidays can periodically change this.
How are Autumn clean ups carried out to ensure my leaves are removed?
The autumn clean ups are carried out over several visits. This ensures that leaves are removed in a timely fashion and that lots more leaves do not accumulate after the clean up is done. Depending on when you request this service you will receive two or more visits with other duties performed during each visit such as removal of annual plants, trimming and tidying of shrubs and raking leaves. This service is critical as leaves left on your lawn throughout the winter are detrimental to its health.
